Registered Apprenticeship
Registered Apprenticeship is career training that provides an opportunity to learn and teach industry skills in an actual work environment. Benefiting both employees and employers, registered apprenticeship combines related theoretical instruction with on-the-job training under the supervision of a skilled worker. One or Two-Year Postsecondary Programs
These programs provide a combination of hands-on construction training with general education for a well-rounded education experience. Graduates of two-year programs will graduate with an Associates degree opening options. Students can enter into the workforce after completing the one or two year programs or if they are interested in furthering their education, some universities have started offering “2 plus 2” programs where all credits would transfer toward a bachelor’s degree. Four-Year University Programs
Two of the nation’s top Construction Science and Management programs are located here in Kansas at Kansas State University and Pittsburg State University.
