The KC3 Construction Learning Center at the Kansas State Fair is a 7,500 square foot exhibit designed to promote the rewarding career opportunities available in the highway and road construction and commercial building construction industries to kids of all ages through free hands-on activities.
While at the Fair, KC3 participates in the Kansas' Largest Classroom. Kansas' Largest Classroom is the Fair's educational field trip program held during the annual State Fair. Teachers are encouraged to bring their class to the Fair Monday through Friday to learn about many topics, including agriculture, art, math, through lesson plans provided on the State Fair's website. Each year, more than 7,000 students will participate in this program. Click the link at the top of this page to download the KC3 lesson plans.
The KC3 Construction Learning Center is located on the state fairgrounds at the intersection of Ft. Leavenworth and Lake Talbott.
